Read the units in that table carefully — every one says BTU per hour, and every one becomes joules per hour, not joules. The nameplate "9,000 BTU" is shorthand for 9,000 BTU per hour; the energy it moves in a full day is 9.5 MJ × 24 = 228 MJ, and conflating the two numbers is how undersized HVAC gets speced.
